چکیده

An improved Two Scale Model (TSM) has been investigated for the depolarization of electromagnetic waves from sea surface. Classical TSM produce depolarized results due to the tilt of reflecting plane. To include the contribution of actual phenomenon we add the second order scattering effects at small scale and develop an improved TSM. Numerical results are obtained for both backscattering and bistatic scattering using Gaussian spectrum for different roughness levels and compared with those of SPM2 and classical TSM. It is observed that as the roughness of the surface increases the intensity of depolarized scattered power increases.

Electromagnetic waves (EMF) are a mixture of electrical and magnetic waves. The energy transmitted by these radiations is absorbed by living tissues. Electromagnetic fields seem to cause infertility in women. Cannabis is annual herbaceous plant grows in tropical areas. This study was conducted to investigate the protective effects of hydroalcoholic extract of Cannabis sativa in various doses of...

A new interpretation of sea-surface slope probability density functions

[1] Sea-surface slope probability density functions, which are usually fitted to a GramCharlier series, can be fit equally well by a bound wave/free wave model in which the distributions of bound and free waves are Gaussian. Bound waves are generated by longer waves on the surface and travel at nearly the phase speed of the long wave while free waves are generated directly by the wind and trave...

Modelling of Roughness Effects on Electromagnetic Waves Propagation above Sae Surface Using 3D Parabolic Equation

This paper deals with works on radar links in a three-dimensional marine environment. Radar performances prediction represents an important phase in the radar system parameterisation. This prediction is strongly related to the electromagnetic waves propagation modelling in maritime environment. The modelling of propagation, in troposphere, requires a good consideration of meteorological paramet...

Investigation of Low-grazing-angle Microwave Backscattering from Three- Dimensional Breaking Sea Waves

The microwave backscattering of the sea surface is investigated with the wedge-shaped breaking waves for the super events at low grazing angles (LGA). According to the relationship between the wave breaking and the whitecap, the finite three-dimensional wedges are utilized to approximately model the breaking waves, of which the spatial distribution is simulated with whitecap coverage. The phase...
